Required tools and products

• 4160111 Cockpit 400 ml (rubber and plastic care spray)
• 400601 Lock Oil 150 ml (lock lubricant)
• 2311001 Motorcycle Chain Oil 400 ml (chain oil)
• 2330112 Brake Cleaner 600 ml (brake cleaner, also suitable for general cleaning)
• 4160021 Window Cleaner 400 ml (glass cleaner)
• 2320021 Thunder 400 ml (all-purpose cleaner)
• Clean cloths

Essential steps for a successful clean & service

1. Preparation

• Choose a suitable location for the maintenance.
• Prepare several clean, lint-free cloths.

2. Maintenance

2.1. Clean the bodywork
Spray Thunder Cleaner onto the areas that need cleaning, such as the mudguards, frame, and swingarm. Let it dwell for a few moments, then wipe clean with a soft cloth.

2.2. Lube the chain
Lubricate the chain with Maston Chain Oil spray. Use a paddock stand to lift the rear wheel (or ask a mate to help) and rotate the wheel so the chain moves while you apply the oil. Ensure the spray is directed only at the chain and kept away from the tyres and brakes.

2.3. Service the locks
Lubricate the ignition barrel and fuel cap lock with Maston Lock Oil spray. If the ignition is hard to reach, spray the oil onto the key, insert it, and turn it back and forth several times to coat the internal tumblers. Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth.

2.4. Degrease oily areas
For oily or greasy parts, such as the frame near the sprockets, use Maston Brake Cleaner. It’s highly effective at cutting through stubborn grime. Spray it on and wipe away the dirt with a cloth.

2.5. Clean the mirrors
Get your mirrors crystal clear with Maston Window Cleaner. Spray a generous amount of foam onto the glass and wipe it clean for perfect visibility.

2.6. Restore the plastics
Make your plastic fairings and trim shine like new with Maston Cockpit spray. Spray directly onto the surface and buff with a microfibre cloth for a professional finish.

2.7. Refresh the seat
A dirty seat can also be easily revived with Maston Cockpit spray. Spray onto the material and wipe dry to remove dust and marks, leaving it looking fresh.

3. Drying time

• All products dry very quickly. Spray onto the surface and wipe off immediately.

• Test the product first on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility.
• Take your time with each step to ensure a high-quality finish.
