Wood material used indoors and in furniture requires appropriate surface treatment and regular maintenance. Surface treatment refreshes the wooden surface giving it a decorative and polished final touch. Surface treatment makes cleaning easier, and also protects the wooden surfaces from moisture, swelling and distortion. The right surface treatment protects the surface from dirt and dust, and also from mechanical wear. With the right surface treatment, your valuable wooden furniture and surfaces last longer.

Maston Teak Oil is an easy-to-use protecting and caring agent for treating any type of wood. This product cleans and strengthens the timber surface, restoring its natural tone and ensuring resistance to changing climate conditions, and protecting effectively against moisture, dryness, bending, and cleaving. The product is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. We recommend using protective clothing and goggles. Make sure to protect the surrounding surfaces not to be treated by covering these!

For optimum results: The surface to be treated must be clean and dry, at temperatures + 15 °C and with a moisture content of 80%. Shake before use.

Instructions: Apply a thin layer of oil using a cloth (not napped) or brush directly to a clean and dry surface to be treated. Leave to absorb for 15 minutes and remove excess oil using a cloth. In normal circumstances one layer is enough. For new or worn wooden surfaces more layers might be necessary, repeat application if needed. Let the surface dry completely before taking into use.

To avoid self-ignition of cloths, soak used clothes and tools in water after use. Coverage: 8-10 m2/l.
