Maston Polyester Resin with liquid hardener is intended for hand laminating. Together with fiberglass, it is used in car body repairs as well as in the manufacturing and repair of caravans and boats. It adheres extremely well to different surfaces.

Suitable for the following substrates:
- Steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum after sanding and degreasing
- Sanded fiberglass (GFK/GRP), polyester fillers, acrylic and epoxy-primed surfaces, and well-preserved old paint layers
Warning: Do not apply polyester resin directly onto wash primers, 1K acrylic products, or nitrocellulose products.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Sand the surface (P80–P120) and prepare a fiberglass mat approximately 2 cm larger than the damaged area.
- Mix the resin and hardener according to the instructions and apply to a clean surface with a brush.
- Place the fiberglass mat and impregnate it with resin. Multiple layers can be applied if needed.
- Working time 15–20 min, curing time approx. 40 min.
- After curing, you can sand the surface or finish it with polyester filler.
- Minimum application temperature: +10 °C.
- Do not pour leftover mixed resin and hardener back into the container.
FURTHER TREATMENT
The laminate can be coated with: 2K polyester fillers, polyester spray fillers, epoxy fillers, acrylic fillers, and epoxy fillers.
STORAGE
- Store at 15–25 °C in sealed containers, protected from heat and direct sunlight.
- Protect the hardener from overheating.
- Shelf life: 18 months.
