Paint 2K PU Gloss 720ml

Maston 2K PU Paint is a premium 2-component polyurethane with aliphatic isocyanate resin. Developed for painting vehicles and other transportation equipment, it creates a remarkably hard, high-gloss surface that provides exceptional resistance to UV radiation and mechanical stress. Pot life: 3 hours after the hardener (2) has been added to the paint part. Open the hardener container carefully, as a small amount of pressure can build up in the container during storage.

1. Surface Preparation: The surface to be painted must be sanded or roughened, clean, and dry. Before painting, use a grease remover to clean the surface. Ensure that the temperature of both the surface and the air is above 10°C.

2. Mixing: Stir the paint and hardener thoroughly before adding any components. Once the hardener is added, mix until you achieve a homogeneous mixture. If thinning is necessary, use only Maston PU thinner (conventional thinners cannot be used).

3. Application: When using a spray gun, the recommended nozzle size is 0.011 – 0.013 inches.

4. Safety: The paint’s hardener and the finished mixture contain isocyanates. It is recommended to use a fan respirator, especially if ventilation is insufficient. For intermediate and short-term use, a respirator with an A2-P2 combination filter can be used. Always ensure proper protection for the face and eyes when using a respirator.

Coverage 10m2/L, 

Drying time: dust dry in 1 hour, touch dry in 8 hours, final hardness 8 days after painting. Can be overpainted after 12 hours (recommendation max. 2 coats).
