Maston Metal Filler is a 2-component polyester filler containing aluminum pigments.
It is especially suitable for car body repairs but can also be used for a variety of other applications.
Ideal for large surfaces, particularly metal substrates exposed to vibration and continuous temperature fluctuations.’

Application
• On bare steel and aluminum after surface leveling and degreasing
• On galvanized steel after leveling and degreasing
• On sanded fiberglass (GFK/GRP), over polyester filler, acrylic, and epoxy primers – provided the surfaces are in good condition
• On dry and clean concrete and wood surfaces
Optimal working temperature: 15–20 °C (min. 12 °C)
The mixed product remains usable for approximately 4–7 minutes.
Apply in multiple thin layers however, do not exceed 3 mm per application.
Drying time:
Approximately 20–30 minutes at 20 °C.
Lower temperatures will significantly increase drying time.
IR drying time:
5–7 minutes depending on layer thickness.
Do not heat above 60 °C.
Use IR equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.
Wait approximately 5 minutes before starting the IR drying process.
Sanding:
• Coarse dry sanding: grit P80–P120
• Finishing dry sanding: grit P120–P320
Overcoating:
Compatible with most types of fillers and paints.
Color: Grey
Note:
Excessive hardener may cause color deviations in the topcoat.
When working with 2-component products, always use personal protective equipment: safety goggles and a respirator.
Work only in well-ventilated areas.
Clean tools immediately after use.
Storage:
Keep sealed in a dry place at 15–25 °C, protected from direct sunlight, flame, and heat sources.
Shelf life:
• Filler: 12 months from manufacturing date
• Hardener: 18 months from manufacturing date
