How to repair scratches in a white ceramic sink or toilet

This is how you can fix small scratches in a white ceramic sink or toilet

Required items

• Maston Ceramic Repair Touch-up, white (product no. 4112022)
• Sandpaper
• Clean cloth

Steps for a successful repair

1. Preparation

• Clean the surface of dirt, dust and grease. You can also remove grease with Maston Degreaser (400006) or a similar cleaner.
• Lightly sand the surface.
• Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

2. Application

• Light sanding removes unevenness.
• Remove grease and dust, e.g. with Maston Degreaser.
• Dry the surface.
• Shake the touch-up bottle.
• Remove the cap by pulling it upward to access the pen applicator, open the cap by twisting it to reveal the brush.
• Use the pen for smaller scratches and the brush for slightly larger scratches or chips.
• Apply the paint directly over the scratch. Normally one layer is sufficient.
• If a second layer is needed, let it dry about 5 minutes between layers.

3. Drying time

• Surface is touch-dry within 1 hour.
• Fully dry in 24 hours.
• Heat resistance: withstands hot water up to +80°C.

• First test the paint on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility.
• Take your time at each step to ensure a high-quality finish.
